A FORMER BANKER has shed their human skin and transformed themselves into a genderless dragon.

Tiamat Legion Medusa, now 60, was born a boy named Richard Hernandez.

After school, they got a job in a bank and worked their way up to Vice President.

Then, in the late 1990s, they were diagnosed as HIV positive - something they said they believed to be a "death sentence" at the time.

"I decided that I did not want to die looking like a human," they said.

"Humans had been so ugly to me throughout my lifetime - from my childhood all the way up to today.

My body modification journey is a protest against humanity." To date, Tiamat, who left the bank shortly after their diagnosis to begin treatment, estimates they have around $75,000 worth of modifications, including tattooed eyeballs, 18 horns, a split tongue, and tattoos spanning 85% of their body.

They have also had their ears and nose removed, and most of their teeth taken out, to be one day replaced with implants.

They said: "People call me a miracle because my body heals from modifications in rapid time." Tiamat's look attracts a lot of attention whenever they go out - not all positive.

However, they believe that, as time goes on, society is becoming more accepting of heavily modified individuals.

Next, Tiamat plans to get seven more horns, which may hopefully put them in the running to be crowned the most modified person in the world.

They concluded: "People call me a 'freak' as an insult, but I'm proud to be a 'freak'." https://www.instagram.com/tiamatdragonlady/ https://www.youtube.com/c/EvaMedusa/videos
