TPD arrested three protesters Tuesday when the Cuban protest moved from Al Lopez Park to an I-275 exit ramp. Two of them were held with no bond under Florida's new 'anti-riot' law.
There is new controversy over Florida’s anti-riot bill, HB 1. In April, Governor Ron DeSantis signed the bill into law, officially titled Combatting Public Disorder.
The two men had their first court appearance today.
