BlackSea4Fish is a project contributing to the sustainable management of Black Sea fisheries by providing scientific and technical support to the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean.

Russia launched a drone attack on Ukraine that injured seven people in the Black Sea port of Odesa, two of them children, and also targeted Kyiv, the capital, Ukraine's military officials said early on Tuesday. Several residential buildings in the city were damaged and caught fire, the governor of the Odesa region, Oleh Kiper, said on the Telegram messaging app. At least 14 apartments were damaged, the city administration added.

In a chilling turn of events, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky narrowly escaped a Russian missile strike targeted at him on Wednesday. The incident unfolded in the bustling Black Sea port city of Odessa, where Zelensky was holding discussions with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Miraculously, neither Zelensky nor any members of the Greek delegation sustained injuries, despite the missile landing perilously close, approximately 500 feet away, as reported by Greek officials to the Protothema news outlet. However, the Ukrainian presidential office remained silent in response to inquiries.
