Even more impressive is the fact that this billion-dollar milestone was attained without taking a lucrative nine-figure contract to compete on the contentious Saudi-backed LIV Golf Tour.

Tiger Woods is one of the highest-paid athletes of all time, so he doesn't mind splashing the cash.

He has earned over $1.4 billion since turning pro in 1996.
