Mercedes-Benz eEconic Driving Video

Daimler Truck is speeding up the electrification of its vehicle fleet: the Mercedes-Benz eEconic for municipal use is going into series production at the Wörth site in southern Rhineland-Palatinate.

After the start of series production of the eActros for urban distribution transport in October 2021, the second model of the battery-electric Mercedes-Benz truck will roll off the production line in Wörth within a short time.

The eEconic was developed together with customers and has been undergoing practical tests with customers since May 2022 following an intensive series of tests.

The first series-produced vehicle goes to Urbaser A/S, a company active in the disposal sector in Denmark.

Other customers have already opted for the series eEconic.

The vehicles are to be delivered successively over the course of the year.
