London clinic offers free removal of Kanye West tattoos

A clinic in London is offering free laser removal treatment for anyone with a Kanye West tattoo following a series of anti-Semitic outbursts from the musician and fashion designer.

NAAMA Studios is offering the removals under its 'Second Chances' programme, which sees it offer free treatment to people with problematic body art such as reformed gang members or prisoners who want to move on from their pasts.

Around 100 people have enquired about treatment, but recipients have to be able to make regular trips to London during the 10-12 sessions which are required, meaning those living abroad are unlikely to be able to access the free service.

So far two people are undergoing removal of Kanye West tattoos, including 24 year-old student Kimberley Westgarth who says she 'loved his music' and liked 'how he stood up for the bipolar community' when she got the design inked two years ago, but following his racist comments she says 'I really need it off my skin.'
