Russian actor Artur Smolyaninov says he would fight for Ukraine, condemns Russia |Oneindia News*News
Russian actor Artur Smolyaninov has vehemently criticised Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
He is widely known as ‘Russia's Rambo’.
According to reports, he was once the star of one of Vladimir Putin’s favourite films. Now he is branded a ‘foreign agent’ by his country for his outspoken criticism of the war in Ukraine.
Zelensky has extended an official invitation to former U.S. President Donald Trump, encouraging him to attend upcoming peace talks in Istanbul between Ukraine and Russia. With direct talks between Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin slated for May 15, Zelensky has expressed full support for Trump's proposal of a "full and unconditional ceasefire" to lay the foundation for meaningful diplomacy. Trump has remained optimistic about the potential for successful negotiations but has yet to confirm his participation.
