On Friday, Israel's foreign ministry said that seven people were killed and 10 were injured in a synagogue shooting attack on the outskirts of Jerusalem.
Israel's ambulance service revealed the death toll to be at five.
They said that another five people were wounded and transported to hospitals, including a 70-year-old woman.
Israel has rejected Hamasâs latest ceasefire proposal, which included hostage releases, prisoner swaps, troop withdrawals, and the opening of border crossings. Prime Minister Netanyahu dismissed the offer as âspin,â insisting on Hamasâs disarmament and Israeli security control in Gaza. Defense Minister Katz warned that Gaza City could face the same destruction as Rafah if Hamas refuses. Meanwhile, Palestinians condemned Israeli minister Smotrichâs call to annex the West Bank, calling it illegal and a violation of international law, urging sanctions.
