Another earthquake struck Turkey, taking the number of quakes since Monday morning to five.
Two fresh earthquakes of 5.6 and 5.7 magnitude hit Turkey on Tuesday, a day after three deadly quakes also felt in Syria, Lebanon and Israel, rocked the country, having claimed around 5,000 lives so far.
The European Union and its international partners gathered in Brussels on Monday seeking to raise money for Turkey and Syria in the aftermath of the earthquake.

On Thursday, the US military carried out multiple air strikes in Syria against Iran-aligned groups. The attacks came hours after an American contractor was killed, while five US troops and another contractor were injured following a deadly drone strike by the groups. Both the attack on US personnel and the retaliation were disclosed by the Pentagon at the same time late on Thursday.
