The chemicals released in the Ohio chemical spill and burn-off have contaminated vast areas of Ohio, Pennsylvania and Ontario in Canada.
There only two choices, tell farmers not to plant because the chemicals will be up-taken into plants through the roots contaminating the food supply or let them plant and that information will come out later sending a wave of panic through the US population over food causing cancer and health problems. If soil is deemed too contaminated to farm, forced relocation will be a possibility, both farm communities and Amish.
