Labour on asylum cases: ‘Not clear what govt is proposing'
Shadow Housing Secretary Lisa Nandy says “it is not at all clear what the government is proposing”, in its bid to cut the soaring backlog of asylum cases.

Former SNP chief executive Peter Murrell has been charged by police as part of a probe into the party's finances. The husband of Scotland’s former first minister Nicola Sturgeon was charged on Thursday in connection with the alleged embezzlement of funds.
