The civil battery and defamation trial proceedings in the federal case brought by columnist E. Jean Carroll, against former President Donald Trump, are reportedly underway this Tuesday morning.
The trial comes a month after former US President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty in an unrelated criminal case surrounding payments made to bury accounts of alleged extramarital sex.
