Ferrier is facing a proposed 30-day suspension from the House of Commons for breaching coronavirus restrictions.

Rishi Sunak said the conflict in Gaza "must end" as he addressed MPs in the House of Commons. The prime minister said he will be speaking to Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to express solidarity and to discuss how we can prevent further escalation.
