Inflation in Europe falls to 2.4%, as higher interest rates squeeze growth
Inflation for the 20 countries using the euro currency fell from an annual 2.9% in October, according to numbers released Thursday by Eurostat, the European Union's statistics agency.

As Labour Day is celebrated, Eurostat figures show that accidents at work decreased by 5% between 2017 and 2022. However, more than a third of European countries no longer meet the standard of one labour inspector per 10,000 workers.
