Russia warned it could arm enemies of the U.S. with long-range missiles and other potent weapons if Ukraine uses Western-supplied arms to strike Russian territory.
Former President Medvedev and President Putin issued the threats, saying it would be an "asymmetric" response after the West greenlit Ukrainian attacks into Russian-occupied areas.
Putin claimed allied weapons effectively let Ukraine attack Russia already.
