Big Claim: Israel Military Warned of Hamas Invasion Plan Weeks Before October 7 Attack, Say Reports
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had been warned in mid-September that Hamas was planning a large-scale invasion of Israel with the intention of capturing over 200 hostages, as reported by Israel’s Kan broadcaster on Monday.
According to anonymous security sources cited by Kan, the IDF’s intelligence directorate compiled a report three weeks before the October 7 attack, detailing that Palestinian militants were training for an invasion targeting the capture of between 200 and 250 hostages to bring back to Gaza.
