The 25th anniversary of the Kargil War is commemorated by a motorcycle expedition undertaken by 12 coursemates of Captain Vikram Batra, alumni of the Indian Military Academy's 101 Regular Course.
Departing from Chandigarh, they pay homage to fallen comrades and heroes who served during the conflict, symbolising the sacrifices made to protect national sovereignty.
Traversing the rugged Kargil terrain, their journey echoes the battles fought and lives lost in defence of the nation, highlighting the invaluable contributions of India's armed forces.
This tribute serves as a testament to the enduring spirit of the military and evokes pride and gratitude for their selfless dedication.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi slammed Pakistan with biting sarcasm, calling it a "stupid joker" after a viral video showed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presenting Army Chief Gen Asim Munir with a memento mistakenly displaying India’s Kargil victory.
