The government is also focusing on increasing self-reliance for long-term stability.

In a dramatic display of low-tech defense, Russian troops reportedly shot down six Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) using assault rifles during an attempted drone attack on a freight train in the Zaporozhye Region. The encounter, captured on video and shared by RT, shows soldiers firing directly at incoming drones — destroying them mid-air before they could reach their target.
The freight train was secured, and no damage was reported. According to Russian sources, this marks an increase in Ukraine’s drone attacks on civilian infrastructure — a trend Moscow says it will counter with any means necessary.
