Ukraine bans the use of Telegram on state-issued devices in the name of 'national security'
Government officials, military personnel and critical infrastructure workers will not be allowed to use the popular messaging app, but Ukrainians remain free to use it in their personal devices.
A Ukrainian drone reportedly struck a stadium in Russia’s Belgorod region, as seen in a viral video shared by Russian Telegram channels. The strike is believed to be in direct retaliation for Russia’s recent large-scale aerial assault, which involved 25 cruise missiles and nearly 600 drones targeting Ukrainian cities. While Russian authorities have yet to confirm, first responders were spotted at the scene. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy continues to push for more weapons, stating the only way to stop attacks is by targeting the source of drone supplies fueling Russia’s aggression.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has begun a high-stakes three-day visit to North Korea, underscoring deepening military ties between Moscow and Pyongyang amid the Ukraine war.
