According to Moscow, Russian forces have reached the western edge of the Donetsk region and that troops were "developing the offensive" in neighbouring Dnipropetrovsk. Ukraine denies Russia's claims.

Russian forces claim major battlefield gains, capturing Redkodub in Donetsk and Kondratovka in Sumy after fierce clashes. Backed by drones, artillery, and air strikes, the ‘Yug’ Battle Group inflicted heavy losses on Ukrainian troops near Donetsk and Kharkiv, reportedly killing over 700 across multiple sectors. Moscow says Western-supplied systems, including Bogdana and PzH 2000 artillery, were destroyed along with radar units and ammo depots. The 20th Army led the Redkodub assault, continuing Russia’s eastward push on multiple fronts.
