Starmer: Labour must deliver change faster after loss

Sir Keir Starmer conceded that Labour’s loss by just six votes to Reform UK in the Runcorn and Helsby by-election was a setback and said that the government needed to act “further and faster” in delivering change.

The narrow victory for new MP Sarah Pochin saw Reform taking a constituency which Labour won with a majority of almost 14,700 less than 12 months ago.
