Indian Diplomat REJECTS U.S Role In Ceasefire, PAK Begged To India For Stopping Operation Sindoor
India’s firm stance on terrorism led to a ceasefire after four days of intense cross-border fighting.
Ambassador Vinay Kumar stated that Pakistan initiated a truce request on May 10, following India’s decisive military retaliation under Operation Sindoor.
The ceasefire was reached directly between the two militaries without any third-party mediation, despite U.S. claims. The conflict was sparked by a deadly April terror attack in Kashmir, which India blamed on Pakistan-based groups.
Kumar emphasized that India will respond to every act of terror with strength, rejecting nuclear blackmail or diplomatic double standards.

At a press conference, Donald Trump fiercely distanced himself from the Ukraine war, calling it “Biden’s war” and vowing to end it. Responding to a shocking question about Ukraine conscripting elderly men and individuals with Down Syndrome to fight on the front lines, Trump said, “I haven’t heard that... but I’m here to get us out.” He claimed the war would’ve never happened under his leadership and criticized the Biden administration’s continued funding of Ukraine’s military, which he described as “scraping the bottom of the barrel.”
Trump touted his record of stopping five wars and promised Ukraine would be the sixth. He also referenced diffusing tensions between India and Pakistan “within days.” The remarks have reignited debates over American military aid and raised concerns about ethical limits in wartime conscription. Trump’s statement drew applause from some, shock from others, and further polarized an already divisive foreign policy debate.

At the United Nations Security Council, India fiercely rebutted Pakistan’s attempts to internationalize the Kashmir issue and challenge the Indus Waters Treaty. India’s UN Ambassador P Harish accused Pakistan of harboring terrorism and disrupting international peace, labeling it a “terror haven” and “serial borrower.” Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar insisted Kashmir is a disputed territory and demanded UN intervention. This heated exchange highlights the escalating diplomatic tensions and the complex geopolitical battle over Kashmir and water rights in South Asia.
