Pahalgam attack: Why terrorists chose to target Baisaran? NIA reveals new details

NIA revealed that terrorists strategically targeted Pahalgam's Baisaran meadow due to its tourist presence and isolation. The April 22 attack, executed by Pakistani LeT operatives, resulted in 26 fatalities. Two locals were arrested for aiding the terrorists, who were later killed in Operation Mahadev. In response, Indian forces launched Operation Sindoor, striking terror hideouts across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
