Janet Jackson to receive ICON Award at the 2025 American Music Awards.

The 11-time American Music Award winner will be honored at this year's ceremony for her cultural and global influence on the music industry.

The AMA's Icon Award has only been granted twice before, last to Lionel Richie in 2022 and previously to Rihanna in 2013.

Jackson will also take the stage for her first television performance since 2018 at the event.

Fans can tune in when the American Music Awards air live on CBS and Paramount+ on Monday, May 26 at 8 p.m., hosted by Jennifer Lopez from the Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

Bindi Irwin shares health update after missing Steve Irwin Gala, revealing appendectomy and removal of multiple endometriosis lesions.

Just days after her notable absence from the Steve Irwin Gala this past Saturday, Bindi Irwin has shared an update on her health.

The 26-year-old conservationist took to Instagram to share a video shortly after surgery to thank her fans for their well wishes, as well as to thank her doctors for the care she received.

Irwin, who has been open about her battle with endometriosis, underwent surgery to remove her appendix which had ruptured, as well as to have 14 endometriosis lesions removed.

She also shared that while in surgery, doctors repaired a hernia which she developed through child birth four years ago.

'Thankfully, I am on the road to recovery' Irwin wrote in the caption, 'One day at a time.

Time to heal now.

Sending my love to you all.'
