Senator Lindsey Graham is facing global backlash after sarcastically suggesting that Israel should bomb Greta Thunberg’s aid flotilla headed to Gaza. Graham posted “Hope Greta and her friends can swim!” linking to her mission report. Thunberg, joined by actor Liam Cunningham and other volunteers, is sailing from Italy to deliver humanitarian aid to the besieged Gaza Strip. The flotilla defies Israel’s naval blockade, weeks after a similar ship was reportedly hit by drones. Greta says silence amid genocide is more dangerous than direct action. Israel has yet to comment.
