Fiery Immigration Protest Speech Goes Viral as Fans Mistake Protester for Marvel Star

A viral protest video has the internet buzzing after fans mistook the passionate speaker for Marvel star Wyatt Russell.

The clip, which shows a man calling out the deployment of National Guard troops in L.A., was shared widely on X with captions praising “Kurt Russell’s son” for “nailing it.” But according to Russell’s team, that’s not him—it's actually local activist Aaron Fisher, whose fiery TikTok speech is now grabbing national attention.

The protests began after ICE raids in L.A.

On June 6 and quickly escalated, prompting President Trump to send 2,000 National Guard troops to the area.

Tensions flared even more when Trump floated invoking the Insurrection Act and suggested arresting California Governor Gavin Newsom, who clapped back on X with a defiant “Come and get me, tough guy.” While Russell has stayed quiet, Fisher says he finds the mix-up funny—and he’s just glad the message is being heard.
