28 Years Later (2025), directed by Danny Boyle and written by Alex Garland, is the third film in the 28 Days Later series, following the original (2002) and 28 Weeks Later (2007).

Set nearly three decades after the Rage Virus outbreak, it explores a quarantined Britain where survivors navigate a world altered by the infected.

The story follows a small community on an island, blending intense horror and social commentary.

Shot with innovative digital techniques, it’s the first of a planned trilogy, with the next installment due in 2026.
