Vin Diesel Teases Return of Paul Walker's Character in Final Fast & Furious Film, Mike Tyson Turns 59, Michael Phelps Celebrates
Vin Diesel teases a return of Paul Walker's character in the final Fast & Furious film out April 2027.
The star of the Fast & Furious franchise dropped some serious news about the final film at FuelFest 2025 in Southern California Saturday.
'Yesterday I was with Universal Studios.
The studio said to me, 'Vin, can we please have the finale of Fast & Furious [in] April 2027,'' the 57-year-old actor told the festival crowd, 'I said, under three conditions.
The first is to bring the franchise back to L.A.!
The second thing was to return to the car culture, to the street racing.
The third thing was reuniting Dom and Brian O'Conner.
That is what you're going to get in the finale.'
Brian O'Conner is the character Paul Walker portrayed in six of the films before he died in a fatal car accident in 2013.
It is unclear how they will bring back the late actor for the 11th installment, but for 2015's Fast & Furious 7 Walker's brothers Caleb and Cody appeared as body doubles and CGI was used to give his character a proper sendoff.
