Georgia man Nicholas Kassotis is accused of killing his second wife, Mindi Mebane Kassotis, by dismembering her body into four pieces in May 2023.
Prosecutors believe Kassotis was on the run with the victim after owing his first wife over $1.5 million in a divorce judgment.
If found guilty, Kassotis could face up to life in prison.
