What was supposed to be a routine flight from Salt Lake City to Amsterdam turned into a terrifying ordeal for passengers aboard Delta Air Lines Flight DL56. The Airbus A330-900, carrying 288 people, suddenly plunged around 1,000 feet over Minnesota due to unexpected severe turbulence.
