Honda has released new images of its EV FUN Concept model undergoing road testing on European roads as part of its development process.

First unveiled at the EICMA show in Milan in 2024, the EV FUN Concept is a mid-size naked electric motorcycle featuring a fixed battery and compatibility with CCS2 fast charging, a common automotive technology.

This model represents a new take on Honda's multifaceted approach to zero-emission mobility.

Development has been led by Masatsugu Tanaka, who appears as the rider in the video and has a long and distinguished career at Honda, working in the motorcycle industry for over two decades.

Tanaka joined Honda straight from high school, carrying with him the dream of creating "the best motorcycle in the world," and his track record of developed models speaks for itself.

Between 1998 and 2006, Tanaka-san perfected the ride and handling of models such as the CBR600F, CBR600RR, CBR1000RR Fireblade, and Gold Wing in his role as Test Project Leader for large-displacement motorcycles.

Since 2006, as Deputy Large Project Leader, he has overseen the development of successful models such as the VFR800F, VFR1200F, VFR1200X CrossTourer, CRF1100L Africa Twin, and NT1100.
