US commerce secretary: American firms see China becoming uninvestible

US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo stated that American companies view China as increasingly "uninvestible" due to growing risks in the country. These risks include fines, ambiguity surrounding a new anti-espionage law, intellectual property theft, and competition with subsidized Chinese firms. Raimondo refused China's requests to lower tariffs, cut export controls, and limit outbound investment.
