RBI approves appointment of Dipak Gupta as interim MD of Kotak Mahindra Bank

Dipak Gupta has been appointed as the interim Managing Director and CEO of Kotak Mahindra Bank by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) following the resignation of Uday Kotak. Gupta's appointment is for a period of two months, during which the RBI is expected to decide on the full-time MD of the bank. Uday Kotak, the founder-promoter of the bank, stepped down as MD & CEO ahead of his term and will now serve as a non-executive director.
