BP chief Bernard Looney resigns over past relationships with colleagues

The CEO of BP, Bernard Looney, has resigned after admitting to not being fully transparent about past relationships with colleagues. The company's board had reviewed allegations relating to Looney's conduct in May 2020 and found no breach of company rules. However, further allegations prompted another investigation, and Looney now accepts that he was not fully transparent in his disclosures.
