China extends anti-dumping duties on Indian chemical for five years

IndiaTimes Wednesday, 7 February 2024
China extends anti-dumping duties on o-chloro-p-nitroaniline from India for 5 years. India's strong production of the chemical causes overcapacity for Chinese enterprises. Bilateral tensions over the Ladakh military standoff do not affect India-China trade, which reached $136.2 billion in 2023 with a trade deficit of $99.2 billion. China first imposed duties for five years as of February 12, 2018 at rates of 31.4-49.9%.
