Dip in cherry coffee prices put farmers in deep trouble

More than one lakh coffee farmers in Alluri Sitarama Raju district face a difficult situation as cherry coffee prices drop in the local market. Private traders are buying cherry coffee at Rs. 120 per kilo, which is much lower than the international market price of Rs 160 per kilo.
