Sebi slaps Rs 25 lakh penalty on BSE for flouting regulatory norms
Wednesday, 25 June 2025 () Sebi has imposed a Rs 25 lakh penalty on BSE for failing to provide equal access to corporate disclosures, favoring paid clients and its internal team. The exchange also showed shortcomings in monitoring client code modifications, raising concerns about potential misuse and lack of due diligence. BSE's lapses impaired impartiality and fairness in information dissemination.
