Tuesday, 19 August 2025 () The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the development of a new greenfield airport in Kota-Bundi, Rajasthan. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) will construct the airport at an estimated cost of Rs 1507 crore. The new airport will accommodate A-321 type aircraft and manage the expected increase in traffic in the area.
