A tragic stampede at the Lairai Devi temple in Goa’s Shirgao village claimed six lives and left around 80 injured during the fire-walking ritual of the Lairai Zatra festival. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant confirmed the fatalities and pledged full support to victims' families.
