Education minister Baroness Smith says the BBC has “questions to answer” over why it allowed a Glastonbury set by Bob Vylan containing discriminatory language to be broadcast.

Mohammad al-Bukhaiti, senior leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, declared that Israel will “pay the price” for its aggression, following the martyrdom of Yemen’s Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi and several ministers in a deadly strike. Speaking to Al Mayadeen, al-Bukhaiti emphasized that retaliation is inevitable, stressing, “Our actions will precede our words.” He reaffirmed that the liberation of Palestine remains Yemen’s foremost cause and vowed continued support for Gaza despite the heavy sacrifices.
