Zack Polanski elected new Green Party leader

Zack Polanski has been elected as the new leader of the Green Party of England and Wales following a national ballot of members.

Returning Officer Stewart Christie confirmed the London Assembly member received 20,411 votes in a national ballot, beating off a rival joint bid by Green MPs Ellie Chowns and Adrian Ramsay ā€“ who secured 3,705 votes.
