"Japan", a heist action drama directed by Raju Murugan, stars Karthi, Anu Emmanuel, Sunil, KS Ravikumar, and Vijay Milton. The film received a positive response from fans, with Karthi's performance being praised. Despite clashing with "Jigarthana Double X" at the box office, "Japan" emerged as the more successful film, grossing Rs 2.5 crore.
