BLACKPINK receives MBE from King Charles

K-Pop band BLACKPINK was awarded honorary Member of the Order of the British Empire medals by King Charles during their state visit to the UK. The band, consisting of Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose, received the medals for their role as COP26 Advocates at the United Nations climate summit in Glasgow. The awards recognize outstanding service to the nation and the wider world. BLACKPINK is the first non-British K-pop group to receive this honor. They have also made history by headlining a major UK music festival and becoming the most subscribed music artists on YouTube.
