The web series sensation 'The Freelancer' directed by Bhav Dhulia and based on Shirish Thorat's 'A Ticket to Syria: A Story About ISIS in the Maldives' has sparked reactions. The series stars Anupam Kher, Mohit Raina, Kashmira Pardeshi, Sushant Singh, Ayesha Raza Mishra, and Manjari Fadnis. It follows Avinash Kamath, a mercenary, and involves a kidnapping of Inayat Khan's daughter, Aliya.
