Jacqueline seeks to quash FIR in ED case

IndiaTimes Tuesday, 19 December 2023
Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez has filed a plea in the Delhi High Court seeking the quashing of the ECIR (FIR) filed by the Enforcement Directorate. The plea states that the evidence filed by the Directorate of Enforcement would prove that Jacqueline is an innocent victim of Sukesh Chandrashekhar's targeted attack. She argues that she had no involvement in aiding him to launder his wealth and should not be prosecuted for money laundering offenses. Jacqueline also claims that the Directorate of Enforcement has acted in a partisan manner and has given a clean chit to actress Nora Fatehi despite evidence of her involvement.
