Kangana Ranaut's father initially disapproved of her decision to abandon her studies and pursue a career in showbiz. He wanted her to pursue higher education and sent her to Chandigarh, but Kangana chose a different path and expressed her desire to pursue theater in Bombay. Her father, unable to understand this unconventional choice, decided to no longer act as her guardian. However, Kangana's success in showbiz has now made her father proud.
