'Lord of the Rings' actor Bernard Hill passes away

Scottish folk musician Barbara Dickson announced Bernard Hill's death on Twitter. Hill, known for playing Captain Edward J. Smith in Titanic, passed away at 79. Fans mourned his loss, praising his performances in Titanic and The Lord of the Rings. Hill's role in Boys from the Blackstuff and Wolf Hall was also acclaimed.
