Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan to beat Jailer's opening day record

Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan, set to release soon, is seeing lower ticket sales compared to his previous hit Jailer. With ticket sales reaching Rs 16.57 crore including block bookings, the film is expected to open in India with about Rs 25 crore. This is lower than past films like Annaatthe and Darbar.
