Kangana-Javed case: Court gives actress 1 last chance

A Mumbai court has granted actor Kangana Ranaut one final opportunity to appear before issuing a non-bailable warrant in Javed Akhtar's defamation case. Akhtar's lawyer sought the warrant due to her repeated absences, despite nearly 40 scheduled court dates. Ranaut cited parliamentary commitments for her absence. The legal dispute began in 2020, with mediation still pending.
