Adding fuel to the fire, Prateik changed his surname to 'Prateik Smita Patil,' opting to honor his late mother, renowned actress Smita Patil, instead of carrying his father’s name. Prateik’s half-brother, actor Aarya Babbar, has now responded to the controversy.
